A Japanese friend invited us for a surprise menu at this Japanese restaurant in the heart of Bangkok's Japanese red light street, soi Thanya.
The place is hidden away a bit from the main road but not difficult to find. Part of the restaurant looks like a cave, and customers sit in minimalist booths separated by partitions. Once of my friend doesn't like to (or can't) fold himself the Japanese way, but here you can sit on the floor with your feet dangling under the table.
