I've eaten with friends and colleagues in all these restaurants in (greater) Bangkok. I'm no food expert, but I do know what I like! Many of my older reviews were also published in Japanese on newsclip.be タイ発ニュース速報. Whether you're after Thai food, or craving a Mexican taco, Japanese buffet or fish & chips, you can find it all here.

* A friendly WARNING: restaurants close, change and move regularly, so before you go make sure to check *

Sun Moon Restaurant ★

Star full.svgStar full.svgStar full.svgStar full.svgStar half.svg Located in a small soi opposite Lumpini Boxing Stadium lies one of the best Chinese restaurants in town, and not expensive either. The place is quite small, with maybe 10-15 tables on the 2 floors of this little shop house. The atmosphere is typical Chinese, i.e. bright lights, sparse decorations and formica furniture.

They serve a wide range of delicious Thai/Chinese food like dumplings, including a variety filled with soup, and their tofu-dishes and fried eggplant are unsurpassed.

A minus is the service, which comes more often with a growl than a smile. Drinks
and food are slammed on the tables, and the kitchen gets upset if you order too many extra dishes later on during the meal. Still, the quality of the food justifies a visit.
