I've eaten with friends and colleagues in all these restaurants in (greater) Bangkok. I'm no food expert, but I do know what I like! Many of my older reviews were also published in Japanese on newsclip.be タイ発ニュース速報. Whether you're after Thai food, or craving a Mexican taco, Japanese buffet or fish & chips, you can find it all here.

* A friendly WARNING: restaurants close, change and move regularly, so before you go make sure to check *

Shahrazad ★

Star full.svgStar full.svgStar full.svgStar full.svgStar half.svg A great place for halal food is Sharahzad, located in Bangkok's own Moslem-district in Sukhumvit Soi3/1. The place is decorated in typical Middle-Eastern style with lots of gold, flowers and colourful lights, and the waitresses wear moslem dress.

The food is a mix of Arab, Indian, Iranian and Thai food, of which the stuffed pigeon and various lamb kebabs are recommended! Drinking water and pickled vegetables are provided for free. The wide variety of fresh bread is delicious, and
there are some really nice desserts in the fridge. Of course no alcohol available.

After your meal, walk around and enjoy the magic atmosphere of the Middle East, and have a coffee and an original shisha pipe at one of the coffee shops nearby.
