I've eaten with friends and colleagues in all these restaurants in (greater) Bangkok. I'm no food expert, but I do know what I like! Many of my older reviews were also published in Japanese on newsclip.be タイ発ニュース速報. Whether you're after Thai food, or craving a Mexican taco, Japanese buffet or fish & chips, you can find it all here.

* A friendly WARNING: restaurants close, change and move regularly, so before you go make sure to check *

Roti-Mataba Restaurant ★

Star full.svgStar full.svgStar full.svgStar full.svgStar empty.svg One of Bangkok's most famous roti-restaurants is actually a very narrow place, and sitting downstairs is no pleasure and hot, but upstairs it's a bit more spacious and air-conditioned. There are also a few tables by the roadside. Friendly and fast service.

The restaurant serves lots of roti (fried Indian pancake) and mataba (filled roti, very delicious) dishes, and a wide choice of other Indian dishes, ready to eat. This includes meat as the restaurant is non-vegetarian. The special dessert rotis
with banana and chocolate sauce are great. I tried the hot goat-milk, which was nice and different, and plenty of fruit juices are available.
